I have a loose covered chenille sofa which is in dire need of cleaning. There are no care labels on the sofa/covers and I don't know if I can clean them in the washer or whether they must be Dry Cleaned. Can anyone help??

they must be dry cleaned.
i had cream ones that i put in the washing machine on a delicate wash-they shrunk and went threadbare in places.
got another new sofa with a new set,
went out for the afternoon,
my teenage daughter gave my niece a red ice lolly to eat on the sofa!
-was surprised when it was stained!
then used a scrubbing saucepan pad to clean it with!
it was damaged permanently.
dry clean only,do not scrub!

Find a dry-cleaner using Green Earth solvent (Johnsons). They will clean ok but at your own risk.
