Have you ever had a moment when you saw something, and it made you feel so horrible inside you wanted to hurt yourself or worse? I have. Its powerful. And its getting to occur more and more.

When I see a certain someone, I think of a past once held dear, then boom. The feeling makes me wanna cry, run away, hurt myself. (I never would harm another person due to my depression. I'm not psychotic)

I'm thinking this is due to an unresolved conflict, or a serious problem with an important part of your life that just remains there, laughing at you, unsolved.

You sound kind of young. Why would you want to hand over your personal power to someone else? You have a choice.

Most people who hurt themselves or become suicidal are trying to hurt someone else. It is a foolish, passive-aggressive attempt to "get back at someone". It never works. everyone (ncluding the intended target of their manipulation) feels sorry for you because you punked out.

Stick around. Don't you want to see what hapens? The best revenge is living well, doing better that when you were with them, and thanking tham for teaching you a life lesson. You learned about what not to put up with from someone.....be grateful.

Who knows? It could be quite satisfying to see what happens to them in life. Karma. What they reap they must sow.

Wouldn't it be great to see this person (who caused you pain) on Jerry Springer, a year from now, throwing a chair at their curler-cap, mumu-wearing, 300-pound cheating wife?

Move on and make yourself happy. you will be attractive to others who will want to share that with you.....

i can completely understand how you feel, as i am going through exactly the same situation right now. at times i feel so helpless, scared of myself. i am 20 and dont want to die so soon.

somethimes we have such problems which we cannot solve, may be we are not even merely responsible for that problem, but we have to go with it. may be things will change with time, but i dont know whether i'll be alive till then or not.

may you get the courage to face the situation. i know no english to express what i want to say.

take care.

Hurting ones self is very serious. You should seek professional help to deal with the underlying problems that give you this feeling.
It would appear to be depression but there are other causes. Please don't let this go without seeking help.
