Add a parental control program to the computer. We have one setup on my daughter's computer. She is allowed to access a specific set of websites. If she tries to access something outside those sites, she needs to enter a password in order to access it. It frustrates her occassionally, but it is very effective.

You can delete anything that is in the favorites. But also, if even one site was visited that downloads links to other sites, you may be infected with some malicious software that is putting these on your toolbar. Open your favorites, right click and delete anything you don't want in there. Then set up parental controls with your service provider or in options in your browser. Then click on start, control panel, add/remove programs. Look in there and remove all programs that are not needed. Then get some good anti-spyware/anti-adware programs. I would suggest Lavasoft Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy. They are both free and reputable. You can get them from www.download.com. Also if you don't have an anti-virus program, get one. In the meantime, you can use housecall.trendmicro.com. It also is free and reputable.
Most important, be firm with your kids about their internet activity. If they are visiting these sites, perhaps they should only be able to use the internet when you are there to supervise. You can put a password on your computer so they can't even boot it up unless you let them.

This really depends on what browser you use, whether Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.
Usually, a link in the tool bar can be removed by right clicking on it and deleting it. You can also go into tools-options and there are usually options to remove some or all of the browser information. If the links are in the toolbar, you can also go into the "manage favorites" section and delete them.
Good luck with this.

Right click and click "Delete" on all of them.
OR Delete the tool bar by:

Then click on "Add/ Remove Programs
Then Find the tool bars name and click the delete or uninstall to the right of it.
OR
Put up a Blocker for sites like those
If you have Earthlink there is one provided that you can download. If not you can find one on the net.

Delete the tool bar. Reformat the hard drive. Best thing is to keep them off the computer if porn is there penchant. This is because they will return to it no matter what you do as it is highly addictive.
