It's just a cheap one my daughter uses. Not real wood; sort of a maninate finish. She put lots of stickers on it when she was young. Now she is 15 and wants to make it snazzy. Do I have to remove stickers first? How? What kind of paint to use?

yes, remove stickers, then lightly sand the finish to give the paint something to stick to. Wash off loose wood shavings.
Paint with a brush or roller. I would try a semi-enamel.
Oh and be sure to remove the handles and such before paiting. Have fun! Buy some stencils and stuff...or try splashin color on it. Or Paint the base one color and then the drawers and top another color. Have fun!

Get some Goo-B-Gone at any big box or hardware store, and remove the stickers. Wash down in denatured alcohol..

Then get some paint cans and spray the whole thing to your hearts content.

Spray drawer facing one color, or multiple colors... Get some other type of paints and dab on colors, of "sponge" them on or "rag" them on.

Colors are your daughters choice..

I wish you well..

Jesse

I woudl definitely remove the stickers first. Not sure what kind of paint you'd use though.
