hello Ahmed.

theres always the thing about picturing the audience in their underwear, but i would recommend you not to even think about the audience or search for someone in particular in the audience. instead, focus on the wall behind the audience or something like that, and give it your best!

Probably a few things you can do. First, be well-prepared in what you have to say -- this will provide confidence. Second, realize that you are just as good as anyone in the audience; third, try "desensitization" -- (keep trying a little at a time until you get used to it). If you are talking about entertaining (singing, dancing) -- you had just better be good. I used to tremble when I had to give a presentation in front of a group. Now I am older, have earned self-confidence, and don't give two hoots whether or not the audience "likes" me. Good luck. (P.S. I don't sing or dance publicly -- and with good reason.)

two solutions:
a funny one, from Homer Simpson himself: imagine everyone in the room in underwear.

a more serious one: Practice meditation, just concentrate on your breathing for a minute, if an idea come to your mind, note it an put it aside, and go back to the focus one your breathing. It's a buddhist method, hope it helps.

And if you make a fool on stage people will laught at what you did, not you, and if you laught too, then you can be proud you relieved the atmosphere.

If you can laught at yourself, nothing can stop you. Good luck.

1. Know your material well (prepare well). Try less to memorize it and more to understand it so well you can talk about it. 2. Try to ask a question to warm up your audience. If they give you positive feedback and participation, it makes you feel more comfortable. 3. Understand that even if you mess up, it's not a big deal. You'll mess up a lot worse stuff than that and this whole situation will be forgotten eventually. It's fun to talk to groups.

Isn't "Computers and Internet" the wrong place to ask about "Public Seaking"?

Anyway, the only way you can overcome your fear is to meet it head on.

Like Nike always says "Just do it!"

Get your close friends to become an audiance and "Just do it!"

All the best.

Cheers.
