Sounds like more than a virus to me (get rid of nroton and get AVG). Get some spyware and Adware removers. If all else fails boot into safe mode (f8 when starting the computer) and do your scans then.

Free programs no person should be without:

AVG anti-virus (the best anti-virus out) - http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5#avg-free
Spybot Search and Destroy (gets rid of all spyware) - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
Ccleaner (cleans old files and corrects registry problems) - http://www.ccleaner.com/download/
Lavasoft Ad-aware (gets rid of nasty adware) - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

Delete your cookies and see if that cures the problem. It may cause you to have to reenter information on some of your popular websites though.

it could be a really advanced virus someone created if you cant find virus software to do it, your last resort is to 100% completely wipe the hard drive so its completely blank
