I always thought the way we wake up and start our day is very important. Like to the leadoff hitter in a batting order. On most days when I have to work and my alarm clock wakes me, I wake up a little pissed as I start to map out my day. On a day like today, when I can sleep in, I usually awake with a strange mix of peace and confusion, as I feel rested and try to piece together a dream. How about you?

On work days, if I wake up early, I feel more relaxed as opposed to waking up 15 mins before I have to leave. On those days, I wake up dreading the day, and being late and basically feel this way until I get coffee and get to work. I always feel better when I'm more awake for some reason.

Most days I just want to go back to bed. But on days I get to sleep in, I usually wake up with an urge to take a leak.

My thoughts Monday through Friday are...UGGG! I hate to work. I rather be spending my time at home with my baby (6 months). Saturday and Sunday are really good since I can do that. We still wake up early but we get to take him into our bed and play with him for awhile. He eventually gets sleepy and goes back to sleep next to my husband and me. Makes me feel so loved and peaceful.

When I wake up most of the time I would rather stay in bed .I have no job,we are down to one vehicle so my hubby takes mine to work.I'm "trapped" in the house with 4 kids everyday with nothing to do and nowhere to go because it's too hot to take a walk.So yes I'd rather stay in bed!!

I am usually thinking it's just another day, that's when I have to work. When I don't have to work I'm usually up early anyway, but usually thinking about what I want to do over the course of the day

I usually wake up feeling happy to know that I have somewhere safe and warm (cool since it's summer time) to be. I wake up feeling thankful I have a job to go to (although a crappy minimum wage paying job), and college to finish!!
