I want to speak English more fluently

The more you talk to other people, the better you will get. I know several people who perfected their English by playing MUDs (multi-user-dungeons). These are text-based multiplayer games online. Everything in the game is done by typing commands and chatting with other people. Before you know it, you will have perfect fluency.

If you want to try it this way, my favorite MUD is Necromium (www.necromium.com). The people there are very friendly and helpful.

Reading a pre-edited text such as a newspaper or book will only do you so much good. If you want fluency, you need to talk to other people to see how grammatical structure and idioms are actually used.

Good luck!

If you want to become more fluent in conversation, find a hot American girl and listen to music, watch t.v.. Otherwise, read children's books or other books if you are at the advanced level. I would not suggest chat rooms because they use too many abbreviations and do not speak proper English.

Speaking is *slightly* different but basically, what all of the good teachers say is, 'read lots and write lots'. *No-one* gets good without doing lots of reading and writing. Read the things you always wanted to read and join groups to write to, and make friends. You'll never regret it. Heck, I never regret studying ancient Hebrew and Greek.
