theres a guy who has created a profile with my name on yahoo messenger?

hi...theres this guy who has created a profile with my name and is pretending to be me on yahoo messenger and is chattin with people i know and swearing at them..and all the while these ppl think its me...they dont know me too well so they obviously assume that anyone chatting under my name is obviously me!! what should i do( apart from clobberin dat sneaky ***) pls help!!!

you have read the yahoo help section right? you do realize this guy is impersonating you and that's a terms of service violation.

just report him to yahoo, IE: go to the abuse pages in their help/chat/abuse section and describe the situation, tell them the time and place online where it's happening give them the URL of the account also.

also a good thing is to avoid situations like this in the future, you know the chatrooms are full of drama queens so stay far away from them.

they need to find themselves and in many cases it's a lost cause.

save yourself and report them for violations.

he's in violation, report him.

well we all know that contacting yahoo is fairly useless since they offer services for free...(so they say)...what I would do is the same back to him ...create a new prof in his name and set up some dates for him with fat gay guys ...see how soon he'll give up

maybe contact yahoo people.
but also just contact all your friends/family and let them know that this is going on.
