BEFORE MY HUSBAND AND I GOT MARRIED I THINK WE TRIED 20+ TIMES, WE BOTH HAD ISSUES, PEOPLE AROUND US ALWAYS SAID TO GIVE IT UP! BUT YA KNOW WE FELT LIKE REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE WENT THROUGH THAT **** MADE US STRONGER. NOW THAT WE ARE MARRIED AND HE AND I BOTH ONLY GET ONE OUT, IF HE OR I **** UP ITS DONE/OVER!! BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION IT'S POSSIBLE BUT IT DEPENDS ON THE INDIVIDUAL NEITHER ONE OF YALL CAN LOVE HARDER THAN THE OTHER. WE ARE 10 YEARS GOING STRONG!! AND I FEEL IF WE DIDN'T GO THROUGH WHAT WE DID I WOULDN'T BE SO SECURE NOW.

Is there any truth in 3 strikes being OUT? What's going to be so different from the first 2 attempts that gives you hope that it will work out? This may just be more time lost in your life span that could have been fulfilled with happiness with someone else. You must have had preservation's on the first 2 times of separations for you to be willing to try again, because if you were sure before the first 2 times, there wouldn't be a third. This is being answered from experience, dealing with an ex of 2 times trying to get back also, but it's NOT going to happen, because I can't get pass the specific things that were done to ME for those 2 separations. Good Luck!

Well it seems to me like she's the b**** here not you. I don't really have much advice here because I've never been in this situation but what would seem logical is to sit her down and talk to her, if she goes ballistic again, then leave for a bit and try again, if this continues then you've done all you can do. If I were you, I'd do all this BEFORE the IVF so that way she has nothing to hold over your head if your relationship doesn't work out. I'm sorry and good luck!

as you say you love each other but still after 3 attempts if your relationship is not working then i feel theres is no point in it. give some time to each other , sort out your feelings & then give another try....if it works good for you...if it doesnt still then move on...

I don't know what the problem is in your relationship, but if you both keep doing what you're doing then of course it's not gonna work out....maybe you guys should try counseling...

Maybe you need counselling to find out just why your relationship isn't working. Love is not enough to keep it going.

subconsciously you answered your own question. You labeled it a "failed" relationship. You are in denial. It's over, move on.
