Every 20 years the old styles come back. The 70's bell bottoms and platform shoes were just in style, now the 80's are coming back. It guess their running out of new styling ideas so their pushing the old styles on the new generation.

Fashion always goes in cycles of about 25 to 30 years before everything repeats again. This is a weird part of the economy, because while most of the economy is driven by consumer demand, in the case of fashion, the companies selling the products decide what the trends are. I've always thought that was a little weird... there are some classic styles that are always fashionable though.
Now... why do the fashion companies want to bring back things from 30 years ago? Because that's how long you can keep things in dry storage before you either have to throw them out, or sell them to some poor sap who's gonna wear it for one season and then dispose of it for you.

People will always love braided items, it's inevitable because they're so pretty and symetrical. As far as the other vestages, that's just bizarre.

They didn't sell in the 80's so there is a vast stockpile in a warehouse in Garden Grove, California. Someone recently discovered it during an audit and thought, "kids will buy any crap today if we tell them too". Look for them at a Walmart near you!

Every hear the saying everything old is new again.? or There's nothing new under the sun. History repeats itself. I'm sure we have some things in our closets now that if we could hold on to them for a few years, our great- grandkids will probably wear them

its only a belt, you dont really see it and its just another style that people choose from. its not that its coming back.
