my mate is starting a company for making radio jingles, voice overs etc but needs a name for the company

LC Media
It scans well, gives information about the company and what it does, is short enought to be memorable, and non-specific enough to allow for diversification.
That's my opinion anyway!

Well it should be a 'productions' one as that is what he will be doing - producing the jingles etc, but which one??? Is it only going to be audio, is it only going to be for media, Media - newspapers, tv etc!! Nah that's not who these are being produced for. It think that it should be LC (though why LC is another question in it's own right) Audio Productions because he will be producing audio sounds for use on radio, tv etc not for the use of all media formats. Well that's my thought process - hope you like it!

lc media production sounds best
media says it's for the media and productions suggest that you are making something for the media. audio could mean making cd's or anything.

Actually I think he should find a name beginning with A so when people look company's up it will be the first one listed. Most people just ring through the alphabetical list when searching for something.

My advice would be to pick a name that that is not too specific. It will allow them do diversify if they need to in the future.
