i need information on who n when did he/she prove that Sun is a Star like many other stars.

Star is a ball of mostly hydrogen and helium gas that shines extremely brightly..
and sun has this property so its a Star and no need to prove this
no one proved this...it is believed and understood that sun is a star

it is gas and would eventually turn into something else when collapsed or exploded like what other stars do... it is a medium size star
