Sir, I read several of your posts, and what I see is that you yourself have a habit of picking and choosing facts to support your position, and discarding those which don't. You are also guilty of the much worse crime of denigrating others at every turn. You suffer from what I call Liberal disease. This is the belief that you know what is best for everybody. You are somehow more informed, compassionate, intelligent, and better suited to run our lives than we us lowly mortals. When someone disagrees with you they are just too stupid to undertsand that you know what is best for them.
Having opinions is a good thing. Being able to interpret and cite facts to form those opinions is even better. However trying to see both sides of an issues is the best of all. This is where discourse in America is beginning to suffer, no one wants to acknowledge that there are good and bad points on both sides of every issue. So while you are more than entitled to hold and speak out on any opinion you choose, holding to this belief that your opinion is the only correct one, marks your own ignorance for all to see.
Just to show you that I am somewhat balanced, the flipside of Liberal Disease is Conservativitis. This is the believe that anyone who speaks out against something they don't like is somehow a traitor to the country. Both are unnecessary, because the honest truth is that no matter how much mud your sling at the other group you are not going to change their opinions. The only thing that has the power to change opinions is intelligent and thoughtful discourse which is devoid of the lowest common denominator - denigration.

Even Yahoo news is slanted. No conservative cartoonists, but ultra liberal Ted Rall and Tom Toles. Almost all the columnists are conservative also. You look on the opinion section of any publication to determine what sides opinions are favored. The advantage of Yahoo news is they keep their liberal bias where it belongs on the Opinion sections. As for this question, never heard the saying before "line your pockets with blood" doesn't it all drip out and make a big mess? I can just picture a bunch of liberals sitting in the library dripping blood all over. yuck.

It is by choice. The Bush administration has ignored reports of any dissenters in the government and have excluded the dissenters from their inner circle. Take, for example, the insurgency in Iraq. Had the administration read the reports provided by experts concerning handling of Prisoners and had treated them humanely, Iraqis would have viewed the occupiers in a better light. They would have seen that the US had some integrity. Instead they view the US as viscious and cruel.
your last line in your questions gives way to a title for a new book regarding American aggression. "Bloody Pockets" lol

According to a few surveys I have read (I don't believe all I read) the majority of Bush supporters get their news from Fox news. Fox news spends a large portion of their time presenting editorials rather than news. Their bias is obvious. But, if you only listen to their reports, you don't hear conflicting arguments. The only time they speak of the other side of a debate is when they are demonizing the other side.
It is not that they are uneducated, it is just that there education is narrow and focused. Maybe that's what they mean by "conservative" conserving viewpoints so they only hear one.

Playtoofast, it's beyond comprehension. I just reread some of my questions and cannot believe that 90% of the responses from Conservatives are insults, no attempt whatsoever to try and at least justify the mess that their political champions have got us into. No credible facts or arguments, just insults, insults, and more insults. Good thing I have a back like a silverback gorrilla. ;)It is truly amazing.
