I just got a new ipod and was wondering if i can only put ceritian songs from a cd on it and not the whole cd?

Yes, just select the songs you want and convert it and drag it into your ipod....

Yes. If you dl the cd into itune. You can uncheck the song you don't want. Click on the tiny blue box in front of the song title to uncheck or check it. Then when you plub your ipod in. Those song will not be added to your ipod. Hope this helped.

when u import the cd click on the lil boxes in itunes nr the songs u wnt so they av a tick in then untick the 1s u dont then it will only import the songs u wnt,if u wnt all teh songs on computer n only a few on ipod click the tick nxt to the song in ur libary then update ipod

where would you get that idea? of course you can put the whole cd unless you dont have much space left then yes you have to limit your choices
