I am 16 years old, female.

My period is very regular and it always comes on the 1st of the month. This month it came on the 26th. I also noticed that the flow was lighter than my usual period.

This month I've been eating a little less and I haven't been exercising as much as I used to. Sometimes I sleep more/less than I usually do. Could this also affect how heavy/light my period is?

Your period certainly could be effected by your change in eating and exercise habits. It can also be effected if you've had a higher stress level lately. It could just be your body being goofy and keeping you on your toes.

It could also not be a period at all and in fact be implantation bleeding. If you've had unprotected sex this month, take a pregnancy test on the first when your period would normally be due. Some women get a little spotting or bleeding that can range from a lightly tinted discharge to spotting heavy enough that some women mistake it for a light period.

Your period can easily be effected by changes in your lifestyle or heavy stress. Unless it becomes a common occurence, I wouldn't worry about it.
