The old Stroh Brewery in Detroit had a spigot in the lobby that dispensed free beer.

I loved it. Here are some must visits:

Miller Brewing Company (free tour) in Milwaukee.

Sprecher Brewing Company ($3 tour with four beer samples and unlimited gourmet soda samples). Sprecher is in Glendale which is a suburb just north of Milwaukee.

Lake Front Brewery-$3 for the tour, four beer samples and you can drink during the tour. There is even a refill station half way through the tour. They are in Milwaukee.

Yeah, it's actually pretty cool. I used to go to school at Marquette University in Milwaukee and we'd tour the brewery on days that we were bored and wanted to get some free beer. The tour is actually pretty interesting...they take you through the whole process and you get to see all the different parts of the plant, rooms, etc. If you're in the area I suggest you do it! They give you 3 glasses of beer at the end (all different flavors/kinds) and usually some peanuts or popcorn to eat. And, it's free! :)

Yes ...its a good time. you take the tour and you won't believe the amount of beer they move in and out every day. i mean boxcar loads..every day they fill the warehouse and empty it. and then of course at the end they give you a , i believe 3 free beers tops. you can't sit all day and drink...haha.
