I think that thunderstorms are beautiful and that rain is calming what about you?

I absolutely love thunder storms. It's so cozy to be snug in my sweet home. I love getting a massage therapy on a rainy day, as well. It is very soothing. I think I probably gained my love of storms , from my precious mother. As a child, we would have "teddybear picnics" on a blanket in our livingroom. Mom would make tea, put it in my tiny teacups and we would talk and play with my teddy bear.My parents made everything cozy. If we were driving in the car on a stormy day, it was so cozy. Even as a child, I lived "in the moment." I knew, at a young age, how wonderful it was to be snug and safe,listening to the sounds of Mother Nature all around me. My husband once remarked to me:
"I never knew a family that used the word 'cozy' as much as your family." It is true. I loved cuddling my darling,little canine daughter on stormy days. My husband ,parents ,brother and baby dog are alll gone now. Their memories and their legacies live on in me;in my heart and in my deeds.Amen.

I love thunderstorms. Watching the rain and wind and lightning.
I also LOVE sitting outside and watching the lightning dance across the sky from a distant thunderstorm!

I love a good thunderstorm, but as of late here in central Indiana, we have "Hurricanadoes" high wind, hail, rotation that rips up trees and houses, straight line winds, it isn't just a simple rain storm anymore.

Thunderstorms are amazing...they are very calming and help me sleep. I love standing outside and watching the lighting!

The louder the better,i love the way the lightning streaks across the sky,the thunder rolls thru the clouds,the rain pouring so loud you cant hear anything else.What a rush,yes i love a good thunder storm.God bless:O)

I love thunderstorms. I like to sit on the porch and watch them. They make me want to take a nap.

The rain is OK to listen to... but what I enjoy is a good lightning show... just like watching a fireworks display.

i agree totally with you. i mean it is so soothing to here the rain against the roof top. it makes me sleep so much calmer. i love it!
