OK now that we have heard from the UK how about the rest of the world.

AZ 122F degrees on my back porch official 118F degrees.

With the exception of just one day it has been over 100F for over a month.

And please don't say "but it is dry heat" OK!!! sure!!! You loose a full quart of body fluids an hour. You need a gallon every hour and 15 minutes to make up for loss and normal body functions.

Of course this is all due to Global Warming. Go to the website for the movie "An Inconvient Truth". At YouTube for the trailer see the link below. Take a friend or two. You will need someones hand to hold it is that scary. And we think we have it bad now. Our great-grand-children will have to deal with a world without any ice packs at all and global tempatures that are 2-5 degrees on average higher than today. OUCH!!!!!!!

That is unless there is an Ice Age that occurs before then when the Atlantic Currents come to a stop. Brrrrrrrrr!!!!!

Answering your question with a question, why are British people never happy with what they got, first its too hot, then its too cold, whats up with that. Enjoy the weather while it lasts, cause next minute its gonna be freezing again! And besides it brings a much better atmosphere in the UK when its warm!

You think it's hot there? Try living in Texas.

It's been about 107F (43C for you) everyday. It's hot most of the year here.

I lived in England for awhile.
London is only 82F right now (28C) We consider that to be a pretty mild day.
Of course you lot don't really have air conditioners and are used to the cold, so i guess I can see why you would find it really hot.

Yes, I'm in the South West UK and this is getting too much now! You can't move for breaking out into a sweat godammit! The thing is though, we all moan when the weather's too cold...us Brits are never happy are we! I've got a remedy for being too hot in this weather - stripping butt naked and skinny dipping in the sea...mmmmm!

Its not the weather its the fact we dont have air cond, Its hot in Vegas but here its different sun. It burns us badly as we arnt used to being exposed to constant heat and light, but........Vegas is prepared with its conditions, even so it is hot, but you can sit in the house without getting irritated cos there is no Air. If we had weather like this more often I dont think anyone would complain! :) Unless its about their tan lines, lol...We just need to learn to deal with it and get a swimming pool with every home!

I don't live in the UK but we are having the same problem in the south western part of the USA. I live in OK and the temps where I am are in the high 90s and 100s every single day and no relief in sight.

I'm sure most people are. If you don't like it, do what you can to combat global warming. Recycle whatever parts of your garbage you can, don't use paper plates, take public transportation if you don't already, unplug your electric devices when you're not using them so they don't consume energy on standby mode, and buy energy saving appliances.

If more people don't start doing these things, the planet will get hotter and hotter every year.

Sort of, we had to watch another storm going inland yesterday so still no rain here. The few splats we did get didn't count as rain to me.
They have issued a severe weather warning for later today but i got to see it before i believe it.
