Haha, good question.

I'm thinking if we had that, only more questions would come up and nothing would get done.

Those courses do exist in some univerisities. It doesn't solve the problem by taking the classes, but it does make you understand the opposite sex. I've taken both Women and Men studies. Very interesting.

To summarize: A man is an ON/OFF switch. A woman is more like a switchboard, too many buttons to press.

Both already exist, and have made great a great deal of progress in many areas.

Womens studies seems to be more popular than mens or gender studies in many areas, for reasons that I'm sure are very complicated and socially influenced. However, the other studies do exist and are very interesting and useful.

If you are interested in them, try contacting a sociology professor at your local university. S/he should be able to point you to some good resources.

"The men's movement is a social movement that includes a number of philosophies and organizations that seek to support men, change the male gender role and improve men's rights in regard to marriage and child access. Major movements with the men's movement include pro-feminist, men's liberation, anti-sexism or masculism, mythopoetic and men's / fathers' rights." <1>

What is masculinity?
"Men's studies - also sometimes called masculinity studies - is an interdisciplinary academic field devoted to topics concerning men, gender, and politics. As a relatively new field of study, men's studies was formed largely in response to, and as a critique of, an emerging men's rights movement - itself a response to both the real and perceived advantages brought to women by feminism political action - and has only been taught in academic settings since the 1970s. In many universities, men's studies is a correlate to or part of a larger women's studies or gender studies program, and as such its faculty tends to be sympathetic to or engaged in feminist politics." <2>

The conclusion is that regular history classes in K-12 still only teach about the accomplishments of white guys.

If women's history were included in regular history courses, there would be no need for women's studies courses.

Ditto for Black history and all the other non-white male histories.

It's everyone's history.

Yes. Having studies for only 1 of 2 sexes only reveals a half-truth. A half-truth is equivalent to a lie.

Your question is a bit unclear to me

If you are asking if there is value in the disciplines of women's studies, men's studies and gender studies then I would certainly answer yes.

Not quite sure what you're asking, but most colleges offer gender studies and many also offer both men's studies and women's studies.
