The Koran specifically caters to converts, the Koran says to convert people, or martyr yourself (with the 72 virgins, etc.) by killing others.

The Koran, and Islam, are bent on converting the rest of non-believers (infidels),

This was Ghandi's greatest lament, that after he kicked the Brits out, that the bloodshed that followed was inevitable.

So the Hindus are afraid of the Muslims, pure and simple.

I don't think they're too afraid of Christians.

I think everything upsets them. I have never met such a touchy group of people and you never know what is going to set them up. I guess the only ones I have seen that are worse are Muslims and that is a select few and not the majority. Perhaps they are like Catholics and don't like loosing any of their populous to another religion...they are loosing power and control whenever someone leaves. Good question!!

Well i feel the same. If someone wants to get converted in order to lead a good wealthy life or for any other reason ,why would it bother other people.
