Nowdays, so many people are in the delivery room. Who wants to see that!!! Mothers crying out in pain with their legs spread and the doctor pulling a baby out. Who does this benefit watching this very painful moment. Whats the deal? I agree with the father in the delivery room, but not the grandpa, grandkids, sisters, brothers, uncles etc...To me its a free for all. If you wanna see a baby born, have your own.

just the father.. I think u will need him even if he doesn't feel the pain.. men should know and at least see what terrible moments we go through..

You know this is a very special event for people, I dont think I would let my dad or brother in there, but sisiters, aunts GRANDMOTHER yes I would. Its not like they are like omg look at her. This is very special!!!! I was in the room when my sister had her baby and it was the most wonderful thing I have ever been thru. I have a great bond with my niece!!!! I have had three of my own and if I could have had more then my husband in there I would have had my mom his mom ect... it just special!!!!

Well, if I ever have a child it will be a MIRACLE. Besides the medical staff I want my husband there. I'd like for my parents to be there. My Dad would help keep my husband calm I think. Mom says they'd both be DRAMA QUEENS or passed out in the floor.

I think the father should be in the delivery room..and if you have a seperate coach then that person as well.
