Depends which you smoke and how much you smoke.
I reckon if you smoke the most expensive and enough of them they would cost aas much as your annual allowance in ISA's. Considering you put this question in personal finance?!?
I smoke one continental packet of tobacco a week so that makes £3.50x52 so it costs me about £182 a year so that argument for giving up just don't work on me ;-). Now if i was to buy the tobacco around the corner and support my local shops as so to speak ... it would cost me a whopping £520+ a year. So fags differ in price :-)

In Kentucky (a tobacco producing state) our cigarette taxes are extremely low. A pack costs a little under $3.
