you need to get a lawyer and get child support from him. If there is already a court order for him to provide child support, you need to go back to court to have the court enforce the order!

With the money he is providing and with yours maybe you can afford a baby sitter once in a while to get out.

Yes, you can refuse to let his father see him until he takes you to court and starts paying child support. It's better to stop it now than later. Don't let him keep doing this or it'll continue, and mess your kid(s) up. You take care of your kid and don't worry about anything else. Tell him "no" when he wants to see him and let him know why, but don't allow him to argue with you. Stop the phone call (hang up) if he's going to argue. Avoid him if you can, and wait for him to take you to court. 9 chances out of 10 he won't take you to court anyway.. that means he would have to pay child support and most guys don't want to do that!

Yes, ma'am you can. If he wants rights to see his child then you guys can go to court. He can ask for visitation rights and you in turn file for child support. But be prepared though, if he's not wanting to take him and canceling now, he may not fight with you about it and give up all together or worse fight for full custody and then dump the child off on his parents or something. You can file for child support anyway if you haven't already.

You can take him to court for child support money. Depending on your state you can get him to sign away his parental rights. By doing that he has NO rights on anything having to do with the child, but he wont have to pay child support either.

First of all--Call a lawyer(you can get a list of free lawyers from your local dept. of Family Services) and file to get some child support for your son. Then talk to the lawyer about the visitation situation.

You need to seek Professional help, child care authority, Lawyer, to protect your self and child from any further 'abuse'. You and your Child's lives are most important here, not this other Person'. Talk to People who no, not fly by nighters who know everything. Take care!

You would have to go to court. While you are there, go after him for child support; you didn't make this baby by yourself, you shouldn't have to take care of him by yourself, either.

It doesn't sound like your son's father is any kind of father at all.

Take his @ss to court, and get child support!! I know how hard it is, I'm a single mom, of a 2 year old and a 3 year old (boys), but their father comes to get them, and so do their great grandparents, so I get some time to myself. If you ever need someone to talk to, please feel free to email me. Good luck and take care.

You shouldn't refuse unless he's a danger to your child. If he's not (just a moron) than he still needs to see him, and your son needs his dad. No matter what goes on between you and your ex, he and your son can have their own separate relationship and maybe soon your ex will see how stupid he's being and will start to help out more, financially, and just being there.

If he has a court ordered visitation set up, you can not refuse to allow your son to see him. Otherwise, YES, it is perfectly legal to not allow it.

Is there a court order for child support? If not, get one.
