This problem can be solved by the area rectangle formula

A = Length times Width

A = L x W

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Information from the above statement

Length = 13 dm

Width = 6 dm

Insert this information into the formula

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --

A = L x W

A = 13 x 6

A = 78

The answer : Area = 78 dm
