short is beautiful- men love to feel as if they are protectors of their women- the AMAZON just doesn't inspire that... so other than being an excellent clothes hanger- tall women haven't got anything on petite women in the beauty department

if you mean, considered beautiful to the general masses, it is because of what is portrayed to be beautiful in the media. that doesn't mean that there aren't people who think it is attractive. i personally believe that beauty comes from knowing that you are beautiful inside, and that confidence reflects on the outside.

The same reason "fat" isn't. America has put in the heads of everyone that the anorexic look is normal. Which is not true, it looks awful.
