Many women think that all men are looking for are a nice body, face and hair. Are guys really that shallow? Dont you think that they want someone with at least a little brain to talk to, debate, live with... Is it possible that too many man look only for a good body or is there sth else? It can also depend on the age, boys in high school look for beautiful barbies and it later changes, or what? What would you say?

It all dependds on the man in particular. some men look at how big of a rack she has, her but, pretty face, long hair etc. But some appreciate a person that's on an intellectual level, and have a great personality. Not all men are shallow, and not all men are dogs, although I can't quite prove that all men aren't idiots at some point.

I think that looks are what first attract us to women. After that we look for personality and brains. I would probably not hit on an ugly girl to see if she had a good personality and brains. If I already know them then sometimes a good personality can make someone more attractive. Call me shallow but that is the way it is with me anyway.

First of all I wish everyone would stop denying the fact that the first spark is visual (physical). You do not start a conversation with someone you cannot see first, unless you are blind. And that applies to men and women. Big deal. After that it is up to the individual. If a guy is a pig and just wants to sleep with you than is his way of doing things. But, maybe you will get lucky and meet someone that will go beyond what you look like and want to know more about you. Lets stop trying to put everyone in a mold all of the time and stereotyping them. We don't all fit in the mold.

I think at first guys are that shallow, they go for the first thing they see. Then when tire of the Bimbo's they seek out some brain matter and that is what they ultimamtely marry. Now if your the complete package thats even better!

When boys are younger, they are shallow, but many men want women w/brains that are able to carry on an intelligent conversation with.

I don't deny that men are attracted to physically good looking women. But personality is just as important. Attractive woman must be fun to communicate with also! ;)

Well the ones that only want to have sex with you is not interested in your brain. However the one that wants to have a serious relationship and a life long pardner, he would like to not be married to a doorknob. So I agree with you.

well, it depends on where the guy is in life.
if i had met my boyfriend a few years ago when all he wanted was ***, then i wouldnt have liked him.
but i met him at a good time in our lives when he and i were both a little older and more mature and he had gotten all of that out of his system.

sometimes all guys want is a pretty face, if they just want ***.
and sometimes they want a woman who is fun and smart and capable of doing things and then they can see themselves spending the rest of their lives w/ you.

i think its totally wrong to generalise, like women, men are initially attracted to someone that they find physically attractive but it takes more than looks to hold a relationship together.
