I had the same problem, I ended up wearing a light beige dress. I don't think you should wear white if it's a formal wedding, but if you are close friends with the bride maybe you could show her your dress and ask her if it's ok. Your dress may be white, but all eyes will definitely be on the bride, unless you are wearing a wedding gown as well.

Get another dress. You should not wear white to a wedding unless you are the bride. It's disrespectful.

it is definitly a no no to wear a white dress to someone elses wedding. you have a couple of choices. you can buy a new dress that isnt white, or you can use rit dye to dye the dress another color. ive done this to a few of my clothes, and they turned out lovely. if the dress is cotton, or a cotton blend, then you can use rit dye on it. its sold at alot of store, including wal mart. it comes in liquid and powder form. you put the dress in the washing machine on gentle, with hot water, add the dye, and let it do its thing. just dont forget, when youre done with the washing machine, put it on an empty cycle with two cups of bleach and an extra rinse before you wash anything else in it. the dye comes in many colors. one thing: sometimes zippers will dye a slightly brighter color, if the zipper has dress panels over it, this wont be a problem, if it doesnt, you might want to carefully rub a white candle over just the zipper to keep it from absorbing too much dye. also, ive used strong black coffee to dye things a nice cream color, brew the coffee as strong as you can, and soak the dress for a few hours, take it out and rinse it, if you want a slightly darker color, do it again. the coffee must stay hot, so you might want to do this over a stove in a large pot. (hot, not simmering or boiling.) if you really love the dress, alot of dry cleaners offer dying services, call around til you find one. good luck, and thanks for caring about your friends special day.

You have to get a different dress. Your dress might be the cutest thing in the world, but you CANNOT wear it to the wedding. Sorry!

What sort of wedding is it? If it's outdoors, it acceptable to wear white. If it's a formal church wedding you must not wear white as a matter of etiquette.

It's ok. Don't be afraid to stand out. Some other people are probably going to wear white. Don't worry about it ^_^
