But I also noticed you are rather wary when you are approached or when you approach other pairs of girls. Your body language is that of a gang member approaching a rival gang member for a light.

Please explain. Is it the competitive edge or the bitten tounge aware of gossip queens?

it's a defensive mechanism that's triggered by our nature. Females tend to be protective of others so when you see them in groups, it's like the buddy system, if something happens to one the other can be there for her...it has nothing to do with gangs or rivalry, just love and care for one another. As for the being approached by other girls theory, I'm not too familiar with that but I can give you an idea of why women may do that...it's probably out of caution. Yeah, I'll admit it, some girls can be messy and spread gossip and/or drama, that's why we tend to stick together in groups, to help out each other and keep others from dragging our name and reputation in the mud...

By walking with a friend or a few friends, the walk is more than a physical experience of placing one foot in front of another. It is an opportunity for sharing my life and growing in a friendship.

I am not at all put off when with a group and approached by another pair/group of women

For me personally, I don't like other females for the most part. There is nothing competitive about it.

Females are awful and vicious. It's only natural to be wary.
