how does this affect our insatiable need to procreate?

Are we going against our instincts when we're doing the daily grind?

We are indeed going against our human instincts in this demanding world. But at the same time, we are also 'outliving' what this earth's resources has intended for the human race. Doesn't it strike an equilibrium?

More work = less procreation, therefore declining population
(Declining population allows us to survive longer on earth's resources)

Less work = more procreation, therefore booming population
(Booming population will exhaust the earth's resources faster)

Does this make sense to you now? Everything happens for a valid and calculated reason.
