Professionaly frequently piercers recommend your both 16 w/ figure or dad or mum consent or 18+ to get it on your own. As 'gaining expertise of Conformity ' reported there are some unprofessionals obtainable how will pierce someone underage both at a keep or out of there abode. i does no longer recommend those, because if something is going incorrect w/ the piercing, it is going to change into sensible.

Most reputable piercers will not pierce your tongue under age 16 because it carries sexual connotations and can be considered a "sexual" piercing. Also, no matter how well placed the piercing is or how well sized the jewelry is there is risk of tooth and gum damage.

Check out tribalectic.com They have FAQs, healing information, and they also have a forum where you can talk to pierced people of all ages from around the world.

You can be ANY age you want as long as you get parental permission. Otherwhise you have to be at least 16 or 18. But just a warning to you, if you get your tongue pierced take super good care of it - because there are risks that your tongue can swell up, blocking your airway and choking you to death. It might be the most dangerous piercing because of that reason.

It depends on where you live. In Illinios it is illegal for a minor (anyone under age 18) to be given an oral piercing. The mouth is considered a sexual orifice and piercing anything in the mouth (lip, labret, tongue, scrumper, etc) is considered child molestation.

So, yeah, check up on the laws of your state.

well, technically you could be any age. If you want to have it professionally done, you have to be either 18 or have a parents permission. Or, you could just have one of your friends do it at any age and get in an assload of trouble.
