What's the best way to understand someone else's point of view?

Make a sincere effort to find out what they believe, and then try to find a means to believe it yourself, if only for a few minutes. Have you ever read a book that you enjoyed but really didn't believe, or seen a movie like that. You believed it while you were watching, though. Try to get that feeling about another person's beliefs. It will broaden your own outlook and perhaps open your beliefs as well

listen carefully and be open minded. you can't understand anything if you don't think it through and understand it... and that requires you to be a good listener. don't believe anything that comes out of someone's mouth, though. measure what you hear and be wise. seek the truth always.

when u're not to be self centered and dont think that what you do n what's on your mind is only the right thing. maybe what u think is right n good but there's a possibility someone else has a better thought.

i think the way is- talk with that person about that topic in which u want to know his or her opinion
