Not a myth. I wore bikini briefs for years. When we had trouble conceiving, I switched to boxers and our daughter was born 10 months later. It's all about the heat, as some other posters have said. Tight underwear defeats the purpose of the scrotum's flexibility by bringing everything right up to the body, where it's too hot for good sperm health. Let it hang guys, boxers or commando, if you are having any problems getting your wife pregnant.

Best is boxer shorts. Nothing tight. Tight can affect the sperm. Commando is not health.
It is not a myth. My doctor asked my husband this question before we began the process of testing to see if we needed fertility drugs.

it's not a myth. the sperm production factories, also known as the testes, are held in a sac outside the main vessel of the body to keep them from the heat that everything else inside of us is subjected to. they need to be at least a few degrees cooler to not inhibit the production of sperm. think about it, why else would we have sacs? why wouldn't the boys just be up under our bladder or something? my point; underwear that hugs the boys to the body could possilby inhibit sperm production, sperm amounts, and such.. you need to let your junk dangle like it's supposed to. boxers dude. or commando..but that gets weird...

there has been a new study that shows it doesn't matter what type of underware a man wears. It will not effect his sperm count. Saw it on the news a few wekks ago.

If you wear briefs, it lowers your sperm count due to the testicles being pushed up against your body. Boxers are best when trying to concieve.

no difference whatsoever... the 'too hot' theory is bogus - ask inhabitants of the tropics.
