and like to playfully grab my head, and arms and stuff ( that sounds really bad doesn't it, but really it's just playing,and I don't mind it) my friend said she thinks it means they fancy me. do you think that's it?

to the bitter old woman who answered my question first, i believe if you actually READ my question, you will notice that I do not say I think everyone fancies me. If I did think that, why would I be asking the question? Jealous much?

I'm like this with a few girls: some I fancy, that might be the same in your case... some are butt ugly, but sort of boyish guys gals, who you can ruff up a bit, and have some banter with, wouldn't touch them if my life depended on it .... you could fall into either, if you know you're pretty, then it's probably that they fancy you .... if you look like the girl who answered this question first, and they do it, they're probably just mates, and just think you're fun to have banter with

I've always worked in a mostly male environment. I think they just like having a woman around for a change. It doesn't mean they fancy you, but be careful cos I was caught out badly with sexual harassment a few years back

If by fancying you, you mean want to sleep with you, then yes. They would like to fancy you all night. Either that or they have no interest in you and see you more as a little sister, someone that needs taking care of, protection, etc.

It means they are comfortable around you. Provided it does not get out of hand. I have very affectionate friends. We hug each other (full hugs for same gender, side for opposite genders). We put arms around shoulders, stroke heads, but it is brotherly/sisterly affection.

If you become uncomfortable with the touching, or if the touching becomes inappropriate then say so. Don't do or say anything that might be considered too flirtatious. Otherwise, be happy that you attract such friendly people.

Well this is not just harmless fun,you say you dont mind it but they are exercising their power over you,I bet what you laugh off as "boys being boys" or "a bit of fun" or "harmless" ; it is actually rooted in the male mind as them showing their dominance over you,it is a form of bullying or harassment.
They may well fancy you,but unfortunaltely women really dont realise how men think and act. I heard some young guys talking just the other day and one was talking about the girl he worked with and how he teases her;she sees it as flirting,so he says to his friend "she is like a scooter;ok for a ride,but you would't want your mates to see you on it!"
So basically what I am saying is,for men its about power,they might appear "playful" and might want or desire you,but chances are they just want to show off or boast to their pals or colleugues about what they can get away with doing with you !

Probably, but it's guys you're talking about. Guys can do alsorts and again, that can mean alsorts. You never know know. But if they keep doing it then i believe it is a sign of fancying.
