I would want beauty.
If you were to say "brains,"
remember that there are at least
7 different types of intelligence.
So even if I wasn't book smart,
maybe I have common sense.
Or mad artistic abilities.
Obviously the perfect combination is a little of both.
I wouldn't want to the the smartest person in the world
yet be so repulsive-looking,
and I wouldn't want to be a supermodel
but not know how to tie my own shoes.
The extreme of either side is not good.
I prefer the Goldilocks story because
somewhere in the middle is the perfect combination! :)

Brains because with the knowledge I will be able to achieve and accomplish all that is needed. If it were beauty that I was seeking then I would have all the means to make that happen. As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and not everyone will believe that you are beautiful, but with brains that will naturally prevail.

I'm incredibly vain but I know logically I should be thankful I'm also very smart. That's a difficult question. If one would have to make the sacrifice and choose one I would go with intelligence and be satisfied with knowing I'm beautiful inside. (God I hope I am??) Beauty fades or changes as you get older. Knowledge is is ongoing and is a constant process. We are born attractive to get mates and procreate.. sadly more and more attractive unitelligent folk and even those not so attractive are procreating. So in this day and age where natural selection falls to the wayside better to be smart and childless than cute with sock puppets for kids.

Brains, of course why beauty does not take you any where but if you use your brain to get a magnificent degree that can be the door to sucess.

Intellect is important to me, having no brains makes you look stupid. I would rather have brains than looks even though I have both! :)
