From what we have read, it seems like it is not a dangerous thing to do. Articles say that there is no loss of sensation or damaged that can be caused. Anyone have any bad experiences in this department. Is it worth it, should she do it?

I have had my clitoral hood pierced for over 10 years. I also have a labial piercing (only 6 years on that one). I have never had a problem with either and they healed amazingly fast. I did have a problem with a nipple piercing from mouth contact before it was healed, so you may want to use a dental dam for a little while if you perform oral sex on your girlfriend.

Also, be very careful not to get it caught on anything. It might not be a good idea if she wears tight jeans often because the ring can get twisted uncomfortably.

It did take me a week or so to adjust to masturbating after getting pierced. I had to change my technique somewhat to avoid injuring myself.

For most women, I recommend getting the labia pierced rather than the hood or clitoris. It heals quickly, doesn't affect sensation and doesn't get in the way.

If she has doubts, she should wait. The jewelry will still be waiting for her in 6 months and she will know better if it is what she really wants or just a momentary whim.

Good healing and lots of fun to both of you if she does it. Lots of fun anyway if she doesn't.

I had it done a few years ago. The pain was very minimal and it healed very quickly. I "tried it out" within hours of the piercing and it was amazing. I love it and so does my husband. Tell her to go for it! It is awesome!
