Don't even bother buying a ring for $300 dollars. They look cheap
and people take notice. Also don't rush into buying, just save up your money and buy a quality ring with a good diamond. Some places offer classes before you buy. You might even want to do some research on your own. Oh Yeah, stay away from some of those mall jewery stores, they are overprice and some of the diamonds and they not even top quality.

If you mean an engagement ring..hell, even just a ring for the sake of a ring I recommend Kay Jewelers (they are the same as Jared, Belden). They have a big sale on women's rings right now. You can get a 1/2 carat 3 stone band in 14k gold for $500 including a lifetime warranty. They also have layaway and their own charge card. As long as you don't have any bad marks on your credit they approve you and you can get 3 months interest free financing. They will also wrap it for you.

Check out their website Kay.com to see some of the current sales.

Just about any Jewelry store will carry rings in that price range. Walmart and JcPenneys carry pretty rings that are real and are very reasonable.
