Well, you must be a Mormon then.....Hm ? Well, I honestly think you should listen to your wife, even though your bible might say not too.......Because, she's only "Human", and thats all the Old Testament...And I seriously think its all wrong!!! More than one wife, I see the news!! How, these women are totally being abused, and made too share their husbands, on different nights, etc... I feel so sorry for those women.. You men, need to consider what your doing to them "Emotionally " its just "Terrible", and it seems that none of the "Mormon-Men" seem to really care what their going through.... In my bible: There's a scripture that says: If the eye causes you too Lust, after another woman, other than your wife, "Pluck it OUT, rather than burn in "Hell".........And speaking of which, if you have a computer, your really not living back, in the old testament days, now ,are you? And theirs "Pornography" and all sorts of ways for you to Lust, on computers....So,, how can you be really living like the ways of the Old Testament, with a computer in your home? And why do you people, take innocent little 12, & 13 year olds to marry!!??? That sounds like your all bending the rules a bit, just to suit your needs...And all these innocent women, are buying into all of your own made-up, rules... If she doesn't want you to marry another woman, maybe, you should listen to her,and quit trying to be like all those other "Sick, twisted, Perverts" and just be a "Normal" Mormon, for Gods sake!!! Thats all Old School !! This is 2006, not the Jesus days !!! I think she should devorce you for even having to be asked that.......And she should find a New Religion, that doesn't practise, this !!! Its become more of a "Cult" than, a "Religion", and many of you are being investigated, right now.....Because, it no longer is even "Legal" in the state of Utah, or anywhere !!!! Its called "Polygamy"...According to the rest of the world !! So, justify it anyway you choose !! But, I think, its really a sad,,world for those poor wives, to be living in, if you ask me.....I feel so sorry for the ones who are "Born" into this occult, you all call the Book of Mormon's ways........So sad !!!

Then don't.
I'm a moslem. And although Islam allow you to marry 4 women, you will never be able to do that. Because the first law of marrying more than one wife is being FAIR, and it's impossible. If you can't be fair, the whole marriage is a sin..

OK now, how many Eve's did God create for Adam?
Would you permit for your wife to marry 3 or 4 men?
How many wife's can you support anyway? Are you rich or will the government provide?
Sorry, I am against.

I would put getting married a second time on the back burner for a while.... at least until you learn to type, and can ask a question that someone could actually understand.

Tell her that the other wife will do half of the house work and when she is not in the mood or has a " headache " the other wife will be there to fill in.

Yeah, that's called bigamy and polygamy... God no longer allows that, and the law of the land forbids it as well. Which means, you're breaking the US government laws and going against that which God has set forth. In essence, you are sinning.. Repent and leave the cult you are with.

What do you need two wives for? I would not allow my husband either even if his religion permitted it. Religion or not I still think this is illegal in the United States.

If I would be your wife, I would be terribly offended!!!
You're trying to send your wife a message that she's not good enough for you, and you want another one too.
If she would allow you, she would be crazy!!
She will lose you AND won't be able to marry anyone else, because she's married.
Come on.... You really wanna do it to her?

Respect her wishes. It is obviously in the rules that she needs to give permission for a reason. Have you ever considered that your wife loves you and does not want to share you?
