Israel did not start this war - it was started by the Hezbollah terrorists when they crossed the Israeli border and kidnapped two Israeli soldiers. All Israel wanted initially was their people back - but when you're dealing with terrorists, you're dealing with people who are dumber than George Bush and that's pretty damn dumb! However, now it has escalated way beyond that and Israel is aiming for the complete annihilation of a terrorist organisation and what's wrong with that? It's unfortunate that innocent people are getting killed but there's going to be collateral damage in any conflict. Hezbollah bombs Israel since Hezbollah's inception in the 80's. After several massive Hezbollah terrorist attacks upon an endless list of nations and groups, the UN along with most all other nations agree to disarm Hezbollah and return Southern Lebanon to the Lebanese government. Israel complies with UN demands and returns southern Lebanon to the Lebanese, while Hezbollah does not comply. The UN does nothing even while bombs rain down on Israel from Hezbollah located inside Lebanon for over two decades. The Lebanese do nothing as this terrorist organization knowingly forms and bombs from inside the infrastructure of their society.

Wonder why Hezbollah forgot to build bomb shelters for the Lebanese women and children, after all Hezbollah knew Israel would be forced to bomb the sites where they are located? Hmmmmm, this is a toughy.... oh that's right Hezbollah is using the civilians as war propaganda. Well, Duh!

President Bush's speech right after 9/11 was really the first time that I had heard much about Al Qaeda or the Taliban. You an a country run by people who were unwilling or unable to take action against a terrorist group withing its border. We sent our military, restored the government to the people removed the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Israel's presence in Lebanon is no different. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and the government/military of Lebanon is either unwilling or unable to remove this threat as it lobs rockets into Haifa and other Israeli cities.

The world backs Israel's offensive in Lebanon.

Israel says the decision by a summit of world powers not to call for a halt to its Lebanon offensive has given it the green light to continue.
