geocaching is a lot of fun - get a group of friends together and you can do this within your own neighborhood / city or you can do it whereever you decide you want to travel to.
Geocahing.com has the details.
other than that, you can do volunteer work, find a hobby/ craft project to work on/ , read a great novel, learn and take up a new Sport or hobby- there is lots of stuff you can do- it's just the getting up and doing it that is sometimes hard

I accept as true with alot of your concepts (they're somewhat sturdy). the conception of having better realism in the game sounds clean. i develop into getting so bored/aggravated of the cartoonish Sims 2, they ought to somewhat "step up" the game play in the Sims 3 as you've already pronounced on your concepts. you need to really deliver on your concepts to EA! i imagine alot of Sim fan/gamers will accept as true with your concepts. * i somewhat wish that they proceed to refine the Sims 3 rather of leaving it how that is now. <:(
