Anyone who looks at the current state of affairs of the world is looking at a fearful and uncertain future. That war will spread appears to be eminent. If you read the newspaper or listen to the news broadcasts they seemed to designed to make us fretful and fearful about everything.
I was a child during the Cold War. I remember feeling that the Sword of Damocles was hanging over our heads all the time.
And that some day it would drop and then we would have real trouble.
If you look at history many peoples have had to live through troubled and even horrific times.
If you are a person of a sensitive nature and you dwell on these things they can make you very very fearful. I don't think that your fear is so unusual.
I, myself, have been through typhoons, tornadoes, and one of the worst earthquakes of the 20th century. There are just a lot of fearful things that go on in life.
A lot of movies are designed to make us fearful, as well--meteors crashing into earth and what not. A lot of the TV shows are designed to create fear--Supernatural, Medium,
Ghost Whisperer for the occult side, and then the fascination we have with the "criminal mind" and "forensics".
A lot of modern music just sounds weird and creepy and scary all by itself.
So there are a lot of possible reasons for your fear.
If any films, or TV shows, or music are at the root of this, then by all means, stop watching and listening to this garbage.
You can't do much about world events or the media. But I make it a point to kind of keep up, but not dwell on it.
What keeps me from being afraid is that I know the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. And I so I know that the end will come out all right, even if there's a lot of trouble in the middle. And I often remember "When I am afraid, I will trust in the Lord. I will trust, and I will not be afraid."
God knows people have plenty to fear. But then he calls us to Himself to deliver us from that fear.

Yes, be assured that the nation that prides itself on its demcracy, christianity, and humanity started as 13 states, acquired 50 bonus states through acts of genocide and 1 of those were stolen property (bought from people who had no right to own or sale them), encourage slavery for 87 years after its treachery to its motherland, has 1/8 of the world population while using near 80%of the worlds resources, wants to control everyones nation, eventually go out to other planets and repeat the process if they encounter a primitive civilization.

Hi.
What you are feeling as what is going to happen in the future is flawed. I will tell you and maybe you will not be afraid. within the next fifty to seventy five years, 90% of the world will be democracies. You need to think about that. Communism and dictatorships fail. Democracies do not fight democracies and they are safer to live in. Just imagine Iraq as a democracy and how much it will stabilize the Middle East.

My Dear friend, When you feel troubled as you do, There is only one source that can help you through this. That is to call upon the Lord your God and tell him your troubles. He will touch your heart so deeply and calm your fears. If you feel you have premonition's of the future, well that is a gift. When you see things you do not understand or that give you fear, You pray. I too have visions sometimes, But have learned that God is asking me to pray concerning them, I feel I have been called to be his prayer warrior and just look at it as he is giving me a burden to help another. God Bless you. Fear not. God says there is nothing to fear but fear itself. Behold he is with you always from the begining of time to eternity

you can feel ? or you can see ? I would say live for the moment, live today to its fullest !! and forget about future, because what ever is going to happen is going to happen, so why waste time on it, when you should treasure the precious time you have now !!
