Prince's second wife is a JW.

Prince became a Jehovah's Witness four years ago; he's been dropping references to Jehovah on his last four CDs, and he proselytizes throughout the interview about God and the Bible. Once again, he's at odds with the pop culture around him. "Now there's all these dirty videos," he says, twisting the only ring he wears—a plain silver wedding band. "We're bombarded. When I was making sexy tunes, that wasn't all I was doing. Back then, the sexiest thing on TV was 'Dynasty,' and if you watch it now, it's like 'The Brady Bunch.' My song 'Darling Nikki' was considered porn because I said the word masturbate. Tipper Gore got so mad." He laughs. "It's so funny now."

Prince Rogers Nelson (his legal full name since birth) does not just accept Jehovah's Witness teachings for himself, he actually goes door-to-door just like more than 6 million of his brothers and sisters each month (altogether more than 12 million associate themselves with this Christian religion).

If he works to spread his faith like that, then clearly he hopes others imitate his new wholesome lifestyle.

I don't care what he'd prefer, frankly. That horse, as my grandfather would say, has long past left the barn. So I'll enjoy his old music, and only buy the new if it's any good.

Most prince fans (me) love all his old music, would never give it up, and are not all that thrilled with any of his newer music anyway. His concerts will not go well, but his fans won't leave.

yes i think he would as he would now have had time to reflect on what crap he pumped out before and the filthy messages within that music and music videos. Its because of stars like him that we have no moral values anymore.

Are you serious? Where did you get this info from?

Even if he'd prefer his fans to stop listening to his old material, it's not gonna happen. Who could forget it?
