I am running a web development company and I want clients who would like to develop websites. We offer websites for just 1200$, so could anyone tell me how I can receive clients and promote this further.

Place an ad in the 'READER' alternative Chicago newspaper. They have a very large distribution in the Chicagoland area.

Try CraigsList and other public forum sites. Make up some ads and become an affiliate of some web sites. Design some business cards and hand them out to people you know. Also, use Craig's List for computer gigs. You may be able to do a couple small projects that can help you build a portfolio and also set up a referral network.

Advertise, go to conventions, send out materials to companies who you think might be interested, network with business owners or people with power in companies. Look for small businesses, but business with money such as lawyers, doctors offices, larger local stores, etc. Those are all just general business suggestions.

Advertise your company in any way you can. Get your name out there like you have posting it here. Let people know who you are. Hold a raffle , bargain with other companys. I have tried all of this and it does work. Dont forget to take the high road (Think Positive)
