You don't delete hardware. Hardware is the equipment, such as a scanner, a printer, or a board plugged in to your mother board. If you want to remove hardware, shut down the computer and unplug it, then remove the hardware. Never remove things from the computer while it is still turned on and plugged in.

umm deleting hardware would require a hammer or something lol just kidding dont do that. My guess is that u want to remove hardware just shut down your computer and disconnect whatever it is whther it be a printer or whatever. If you are looking to remove software you can use the add or remove programs in the control panel.

If you go to the Control Panel, click Add/Remove. A list displays. After you find your hardware, delete it or uninstall. Take care: in WinXP the next item on the list is highlighted. If you are not careful, you might accidentally delete this, also. I did. Had to reinstall.

damnit, someone already made the hammer joke. Deleting hardware is impossible. You just pull it out with the computer shut down. Drivers?? They get replaced with new hardware. Isn't PnP great?
