Lebanon's not at war with Israel, Hezbollah is. In the end, I want to see a stable, peaceful Lebanon again, and would prefer that Israel stop playing spiteful victim everytime they pick a fight and someone punches back.

What is this a football game to you. No one wins wars because there is always another war to fight. If you can cause a war because someone was taken hostage then all you really need to wage war is have support from your country men. Wars are made by a few men and it only benefits these peoples agenda and those who aligned themselves with that country. Do you care more about your family or your government? I care more about my family and I care more about the people of Israel and Lebanon then I do about their government. The family over there are being kill and I don't think they care who wins I think they want peace for once in their lives. This battle has been going for years and years and we are still at the same place. War is not the answer and who ever "WINS" will have won nothing.

Why do people keep saying Israel is fighting Lebanon? Israel is fighting the Hezbollah not Lebanon. Just so happens that the Hezbollah is hiding in Lebanon, like the cowards they are, amongst the women and children. I would love to see Israel win this one. Hopefully we can get rid of Syria and Iran too.

I would like to see them obliterate each other once and for all to put an end to the idiocy they create with their petty hatreds. Since most of today's terrorism stems from that region and the conflicts with Israel (and those who support either side), the world as a whole would be well served if both sides were out of the equation because they will never find a peaceful solution which satisfies everyone.

The war is in lebanon not with lebanon, but i would like to see Isreal win. They are the target of most of the "orginizations" in the area. Peace is possible but it takes two. Isreal and Egypt have been at peace since the mid 70's(thanks Jimmy Carter), and neither side has broken ANY part of their treaty.

World backs offensive

Israel says the decision by a summit of world powers not to call for a halt to its Lebanon offensive has given it the green light to continue.

"We received yesterday at the Rome conference permission from the world... to continue the operation," Justice Minister Haim Ramon said.

I join the world in backing Israel to win by destroying Hezbollah in Lebanon. Why? They are threats to freedom and peace in the region and elsewhere. They must be crushed.

The war isn't between Israel and Lebanon, it is between Israel and Hezbollah. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that has been lobbing missiles into Israel from inside Lebanon and Israel is perfectly within it's rights to fight them. I support Israel.

Lebanon because Israel is always picking on the weak and poor countries and then killing innocent civilians. They're the playground bullies because they have a strong big brother to back them up, the U.S.

I would like all the little retards to go back home and stop playing war on both sides.

For goodness sakes...just trade the soldiers and let people get on with living. Taking the soldiers was a dumb move. Even dumber was not giving them back. I wonder if they had given them back would would their still be war anyways.

Israel, because they are only defending themselves.

For those who feels otherwise, lets say if your neighbouring country harbours, protects and even give a place in politics to terrorists who is periodically shooting and sending missiles into your country. What if we see beyond race or religion and take it that your nation has the same race and religion as that neighbouring country. Will you defend your nation or not?
