Why is it that showing your stomach considered inappropriate? Don't you think its just like showing your foot or arm??
And if its just because it's close to our breats, showing our shoulders should be inappropriate too right..Nothing is wrong with showing our stomachs. If its sexi show it off, just like if we got a pedicure we would show it off right..what do you think about the situation?

i dont think its inappropriate at all. i mean in the end we were all bored naked right? nudity is something people need to understand that is normal but since we all were clothes these days, its inappropriate only when you show it in the wrong way. for example, when ladies or girls go clubbing and they where this little shirt that make them look like sluts. im guessing thats why people say inappropriate. other than i believe its perfectly natural.

I think you just sabatoged your own argument. First you say why should women be able to show their stomach , it's just like a foot or arm. Then you say if it is SEXY show it off. The only reason most women wear the belly shirts is to show off sexyness so you can 't really get upset when people look at you and think inappropriate things. I personally don't see a problem with women showing off their stomachs. some of those women word very hard to have great looking stomachs. But I very strongly believe not everyone should wear them. I'm sorry but if you are not in shape it is just not an attractive thing to see. I have seen an awful lots of girls showing off their stomach when they shouldn't be. And I am not being mean, really. I am one of the girls who should not wear them.

Well it depends. Where are you showing your stomach at? At work or school or church? Probably not very appropriate. Its not so much the actual body part but what it is trying to say. To me (and I am 23 year girl) its says, "Hey look at me, I am sexy." Its almost like you are trying to hard to draw attention to yourself. Very few people can pull it off. Usually most girls I see with their stomachs showing are trashy and nasty looking.

People are quick to talk Sh!T about what's appropriate and what's not.. Me personally, I see nothing wrong with showing your stomach as long as it's in shape... I see it wrong if u show your stomach, and it's hanging out of your pants... That's inappropriate.. LOL

I don't see anything wrong with a women or a girl showing her stomach if it's not hanging over her pants. No one wants to see that.

Its not that showing your stomach is the problem. Its how low you show your stomach. I see a lot of you younger girls showing right down to your pubic line...I think that is way too far...

I am 45 and I still show off my belly.Why? Because I can. Someday I may not be able to. I think if they don't like it ,don't look. I mean alot of women my age can't they may scare everyone. Then there are the younger ones who can't and they hate me showing my belly, why? Because they are too fat. It's like don't hate me cause I'm beautiful.

I'm with you a 100%. Why not the breast too. Us guys can walk around topless why not girls? I think girls should walk around topless, this is America, and every one deserve equal rights. Come on girls just take off your tops, and let them fly.

I don't see anything wrong with it at the beach. I guess it goes back to Victorian days where modesty was big.
