Yes, if you have a very strong personality you will be missed.
Bill Russel spoke of the invisible man in his book on leadership. he spoke of a player who was so dominant at his position opposing players would avoid the places on the court where this player played even when he was on the bench.

Yes. My cousin has died for about 7 years now but he is still quite present in my life and, sometimes, I even find myself talking to him...
