He's hitting .280 with 20+ homers, yet he somehow sucks?
Arod is the best player of this generation, and by the time he retires he'll have 3,500 hits and the home run record. He's a Gold Glove fielder going through a tough spell right now, and he'll be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
I'm not even a Yankee fan, but I'm hoping they win the World Series this season just so we can see a reduction in the number of stupid comments about Arod.

Thank you for saying "some". I am really, really tired of so many people saying we're ALL spoiled and whiny. I think booing your own players is atrocious. And while I have said that booing is probably stressing him out more, I don't think that's an excuse. I don't think he needs an excuse. He is having a bad month, all players have slumps. I don't think he'll ever be a beloved player like Jeter, but I do think he deserves better than this. Boston didn't win the Series for years, and the Cubs still haven't, and their fans would never behave this way. Most teams fans don't behave this way. I just think it's shameful behavior, it makes all of us Yankees fans look bad, and it's certainly not HELPING A-Rod.

Well, I'm a Yankee fan and I do not boo A-Rod. A lot of fans do but, they should not because it's not going to make him play better. Last night, I think he was 2 for 4 because he got a single and a home run. He is slowly getting back to his normal self.

if the yanks traded a rod to boston, would that make them happy ? i dont think so, i think they should get off his back and start cheering him on, if it continues the way it is, i hope the yanks trade to the red sox for some minor leaguer.
