they recommend taking it in the morning because the horomone hcg is at it's highest concentration but you should still get an accurate result anytime during the day

The hormone collects in the bladder at night. Usually it will still be effective if taken during the day. It may be slightly better to detect a pregnancy early with morning urine, though.

Pregnancy test don't have to be taken in the morning. It is meant for any time of the day. I detected my pregnancy at night and it was accurate...

You can take it anytime but if you read the information paper that comes with a test it does state why you should take it in the morning...that is when it can detect the pregnancy hormones better.
