It' not a matter of satisfying your own reasons for doing the right thing... It's a matter of alleviating the pains of the "wrong" act. So "whose to say your right"?

I say, "Who better than the victims of the wrongful act?

We have morals for reasons, not excuses.
Without logic, there would be utter chaos.
